as i said in the subject i done a firmware upgrade a few days ago and the Axon has stopped to work.
i've already done a firmware upgrade in the past years with no problems but this time something is gone wrong.
My problem is very similar to others who wrote in this forum in the past.
I installed the new editor on my system (win 7) and had no problem, then i tried to upgrade the firmware following the correct procedure but the first time it hangs on "update flash" and i must start again. The second time it hangs on "erase flash" for long time. Such a long time that after more then 30 min. i shut down the axon. When i restart it the only thing i see on the display (with contrast set to max) is a row of black boxes, and nothing more. The axon is dead! I tried everything: factory reset, upgrade firmware again but nothing works.
The only strange things i noticed is that the led near the buttons (global, preset, etc..) don't work properly. So when i press the utility button is the led near store button who is lit, so for the global button (it is lit the led near preset button) The other buttons seems ok.
SO what can i do now? Someone can help me or tell me where or how i can repair the unit?
I'm from italy. I tried to contact terratec italy for support but they said that i must contact terratec in germany. I tried to contact them through their website but no answer....Hum!!! that is no good, maybe i miss something. I cannot call them on phone because i have difficult to understand english spoken.

That is partially why I never have upgraded! I was always afraid of having a dead unit. Maybe someone here has a solution for your problem.
